How many of you are coming to Pittsburgh on 10/23?

Oct 5, 2021, 11:47 AM

Personally and selfishly, I'm hoping for a noon start otherwise I will have to sell my tickets and miss a home game for the first time in 9 years.

I've been waiting since Pitt joined the ACC for THIS SPECIFIC GAME.... and my sisters decided to plan a surprise 60th anniversary party for my parents on that night. ######.

In any case... Hopefully we both take care of business on 10/16 so that it possibly is a game between two ranked teams.

Me & a couple of my buddies are driving up Thursday for the game. We have never been to Pitt. What are some of the things you recommend we definitely do while we are there.
Thanks in advance!

This pinned post on the Pitt message board can do a better job of it than I can:

Ask your sister to change the night? There are many other Saturday nights to have a party!

I’m going, my brother in law is from Pittsburgh and a Pitt grad. So we will get to see everything Pittsburgh has to offer . Should be a good time
Go Tigers !

Got a group of around 6 going, unfortunately.

Slightly kidding. We’re all Clemson grads and best friends for life. Not excited about the game anymore, but for most of us it will be our first time in Pittsburgh. I’m excited to experience the city and see my friends who mostly live up in the northeast - some of whom I haven’t seen in almost a decade.

My wife and I are coming. We have reservations at the Hyatt Regency Airport. I see their is a bus that's called "28X Flyer" I believe, that you can ride from the airport to downtown. Thinking about doing this for the game then walking across the pedestrian bridge to Heinz Field. Do you know if traveling on a bus would be considered safe? Thanks!!

Good move staying at the airport. The trip back there can be hit and miss with traffic. I go to Pitt a lot and still couldn't tell you anything to go see.

I am still debating.

Pittsburgh is a very old city and doesn't offer a lot of things that you normally see.

They are playing very well and we are going to have to improve offensively if we are going to beat them.

In plus 2 friends. First time to Pittsburgh and headed from airport to primantis. After that, cold beer and good times (and hopefully panther tears)

I'll be there. It will finish our visits to all ACC stadiums. We are doing Syracuse and spending the week in the New England area in between the games.

Pittsburgh is one of the most underrated cities in the U.S even though I haven't been there in over 30 years.
