this team will not be deep? are you kidding? As of now, we have no proven scoring at guard nor do we have a good perimeter shooter. The guard we just signed is not a scorer and not a good shooter so we are still hurting there.

and 2 have never played a game. We have no wing who has played a game. We need at least 3 perimeter players, maybe 4.
Why are we signing so many players who have never played a game of basketball? Seems like we would at least recruit guys who played in HS!!!

Well with this transfer we have two that have played with experience and then two talented ones behind them.

as for Buckner and Foster, they've never played a game. We're not exactly know for impact freshmen. Whose the last one we had? Trevor? I couldn't name the last double digit scoring freshman we had? Boogie? Maybe Tony Stockman on a horrible team. Been a long time

Al amir dawes averaged 9, but it is a valid point.
I do think it is reasonable to expect contribution from foster and dallas considering they are our two highest rated recruits We have had under brownell. Dallas thomas might be expected to start at the 3. We may have our starting lineup in place with the exception of SG.
If we could get a scoring guard at the 2, we might only be looking for a few more pieces for depth.

We will see. Foster is pretty highly rated, so we will see. Then of course Buckner was no such in ratings and he has had a redshirt that might help. We shall see. One more lock would obviously be nice.

If the new settlement is agreed to, mens basketball maximum will increase from 13 to 15 for 25-26 season. Think we are at 10 now.

I'd say 13 is still the max most will carry of true

scholarship players. With the portal, those final 5 scholarships are likely out the door anyway unless it's an injury. A couple/three walkons will get a scholarship for practice purposes

Agree. It's the least we can do for walk-ons. Given how teams are chosen for the tournament, teams are forced to run up the score, reducing minutes for them.
