The question is....

Sep 12, 2016, 4:12 PM [ in reply to I want to see if a Troy player picked up the ball in the endzone*** ]

did the official blow the whistle as the ball carrier crossed the goal line.

If he did, it should have been a dead ball at that point and Clemson would then have retained possession first and goal from the goal line.

Re: How is this disputable evidence

He definitely fumbled it before goal line but my argument was that the play was blown dead (called TD) before Troy player picked it up (as shown in above pic) so it should have been clemson ball on the 1.

The entire player did not cross the line. He left his shoe a few yards back. Runner would be down at the shoe's location. Clemson ball. 1st and 10.

Sep 12, 2016, 4:59 PM

Ray Ray didn't have a problem with it... Dabo didn't have a problem with it... Ray Ray acknowledged he made a mistake and wouldn't repeat it. It looked to me like he released the ball short of the end zone, and it must have looked that way to the people paid to make the determining decision and had the authority to do so.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not sure if you are being serious but,

Sep 12, 2016, 8:10 PM

His front foots heel is on the back of the line...his hand that dropped the ball is clearly behind that...and the ball is clearly behind his hand. Your picture confirms it did not cross the line. Angles and perspective friend.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Based on his logic...

Sep 12, 2016, 8:30 PM

McCloud was lying on the ground with his head about 1 yard or so over the goal line.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Is that not what happened?

Sep 12, 2016, 8:44 PM

My internet broked during that part of the game. From the picture, I thought McCloud was lying on the ground with his head about 1 yard or so over the goal line. I'll see if I can find a replay.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: How is this disputable evidence

I hope you are kidding.
The pic is not from straight on but rather from around the 30 yard line.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If you look closely at his...

Sep 12, 2016, 8:39 PM

hand, it is apparent he flipped the ball backwards after crossing the gold line!!!! And since he made it backwards thru those red lines, that should account for the extry point. 7 point play I say!

Go Tigers!!!

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

His right foot is on the goal line, the ball is behind his foot. He definitely dropped it early. This shot is from a poor angle, you need a view directly down the line.

Same virtual goal line (the edge of paper).
Top of eraser appears to be over the line from this angle.
Bottom of eraser clearly shows that it's fully BEHIND the edge of the paper.

Geometry. The projection of the vertical in the proper perspective shows the ball hasn't touched the front face of the goal line. It's not close. Sadly.
