Someone help me understand how CBS thinks this way. It seems there's nothing we can do to move up the standings.

I think the NCS win could have slid us in but a loss tonight could easily push us right back out which is why I think a win tonight is needed to eliminate the doubt.

Well, it seems they had 0 quad 3 or 4 losses compared to 4 for us. They also beat us head to head by 20.

They were like 1 - 9 in quad 4 wins. I guess it doesn't matter who you beat ..... only who you didn't lose to.

I mean the h2h is big imo even tho it was on the road. They don't have bad Ls but they don't have good Ws either.

They have a legacy on their side. I don't think it will be enough but some folks do look at that. They shouldn't be in but the human element of these decisions can never be completely discounted.

1 - More difficult OOC SOS ranking
2 - More difficult conference SOS ranking
3 - No Quad 3 or 4 losses
On the flop side, they are just 1 - 9 against Quad 1 teams this year. Who knew good losses boosted your NACAAT resume.

Because their out of conference schedule was much better. They beat us. THey played a tougher schedule and their name.

CBB needs to change our scheduling in the future

an only play quad 1 or 2 teams. That way it doesn't matter if you win or lose, you'll still get in the tourney.
