Well we know how that will turn out. He will love the visit, we will be in the mix, he will take further visits. Then who ever has the deepest pockets will win!
Since we don't cast into that pond we won't catch the trophy fish. We will recruit 5 or 6 high 4-stars and Coach Luke will coach them up and we will be fine.

We cast the lure selectively, but are not avoiding tossing at the trophies.
Sometimes they bite and toss the hook.
Sometimes we land a few.
Sammy Brown and Christian Betancur are both trophy signees.
Trophies never get caught if you’re not willing to make the cast. After all, it’s called fishing, not catching.

You know I'm right. We will get some of the 5-stars in a year or two but until the field levels back out and it will, we can't give a kid who may look great 750k just to sign his name and not be able to pay the ones already putting in the work. I hate it has become like this but it is the world we live in.

Clemson needs a booster with deep pockets and a legit business to finance NIL deals. If I had the money, I would open a pancake house in Clemson and would pay NIL advertising deals to support the offensive line. Everything would be done legally too.
