All I know is Brownell’s teams always play their tails off, even the years we haven’t been as good.

On the down side, we have a couple of bad losses.
Good side is we didn't play great the last two games but found a way to win them.

Really all three losses were bad. Iowa's near the bottom of the Big 10. The Gamecocks are dreadful. And that Loyola Chicago loss was inexplicable. They're a terrible shooting team, but that day they couldn't miss. Also, as someone else noted, the ACC is not a very respected basketball conference anymore and hasn't been for several years. I believe our NET ranking coming into today was down around 70 or so. Our Massey Composite ranking has been a little better, but still not anywhere near top 25.

Iowa is ranked #16 and just beat #14 Michigan. I wouldn’t consider that one a bad loss but the other 2 for sure.

We lost to SCAR, which seems to be a trend .... when our team is better, but unexplicably finds a way to lose. Makes you wonder if someone got paid to lose. Just say'n.
