His crypto was purchased when Bitcoin was around $55k. It is now 20% higher, and spiked to 25% a few months ago. In that same timeframe, depending on the date he got his signing bonus, gold is up almost the exact same 25% ish.

And to be clear, he got his FTX signing bonus in crypto (likely BTC or ETH), not his NFL signing bonus in crypto.
