So? And he wouldve worked out of it if not called for the foul. Its bad enough they didnt call NCST, but whats worse, they actually called it on Girard. Which put NCST at line.

Ok, we see it different ways. Regardless, Girard was clearly fouled ... and it was called against us instead. Which was a critically timed bad call. Fouls are part of the game and can make or break games at the roght moment as much as a turnover like Girard's missed shot. It should have gone our way and it would have made a difference. We can criticize Girad's poor play AND the poor call at the same time.

I felt like he didn’t get involved as early as he should. He’s a senior. Him and pj I felt didn’t have the games they normally do. I know they got there numbers but just seemed different

I agree. His first shot make was with around 5 minutes left in the first half.

At least that’s my recollection.
I don’t believe he had any shot attempts prior to that.
Regardless, he needed to be involved earlier.

We’re 243rd in turnover margin because we’re sloppy, undisciplined, and poorly coached. Not because of conspiracies involving the refs.

Didn’t know you that but could tell when we simply couldn’t pass the ball in after an ncst score. Bad coaching I’m sorry but that’s the truth

Totally agree. Not saying its a conspiracy. Dont believe that and didnt use that word. And we absolutely have a problem with turnovers and unfocused play, especially in close games when pressure is on to finish it. For that matter, we also have game managememt issues in moments like that as well.
Its not conspiracy. Its bad calls at critical moments. In my opinion, make that call against NCST, and we win. So in the moment, whatever our issues are (and we definitely got some,) the guys played just well enough to win ... and a really bad call moved the goalpost. They didnt have to play NCST well enough to win, they to add a little to get by a call that wasnt even reviewed (and shouldve been.)
As a coach for a lot of years (albeit baseball and a good while ago), i think we can point out players' (and coaches'!) mistakes and also point to critocally bad calls that can flip a game. Both matter.
Here is an extreme example for the purpose of discussion. MD clearly dropped the pass. So they didnt do quite enough to win, and Clemson's defense did just enough. But a terrible call flipped the outcome.

Just saying we can equally point to opportunities missed by players and also point to opportunities taken away by poor officiating. Why pound on BB, however justified, and give refs a pass? (Truth in advertising, not BB fan myself, but trying to be fair to him i guess.)

They couldn’t wait to get in TNet last night and bash him and our team.
It makes this place nearly unbearable.

The irony is great with this one. I agree with a lot of your comments about the game but I don’t see anything going on here that you don’t do to the football team and coaches.

So he didnt foul girard? Nobody is saying it is a conspiracy against us, you bozo. You are so f'ing dramatic. It was a bad call at a poor time. It was a 4 point swing because if they called it properly, Girard would have gone to the line. It wasnt the only factor in us losing the game, but if it called properly, we likely arent losing.

Also we are ranked 42nd in the country in turnovers. As in there are only 41 out of 362 teams that have committed less turnovers than us. This destroys your misleading and dishonest premise that we turnover the ball a lot because we are sloppy and poorly coached.
If your stat is correct (which you lie a lot, so who knows) then it is because we dont cause many turnovers on defense.

just got a blueprint for beating us. We don’t handle pressure well and don’t protect the ball. I said something earlier in the season about how easy it seems for other teams to take the ball out of our hands or knock it away or tie us up. That was on full display last night along with significant struggles with just getting the ball inbounds after a made basket with minimal pressure from State. Passes are timid when we do make the decision to make them and we get too many balls knocked away or tipped. We really need to be stronger with the ball in our hands and need to make crisper, stronger passes.

The refs gave them every single benefit of the doubt in the final 3 minutes from the jump ball to the final drive! Just like the Duke game! It happens too often! Refs should be graded and held accountable but that will never happen! Is there an NIL for referees? Just sayin!

They are graded. In fact, Ron Groover consistently grades as one of the best in the NCAA by Ken Pom and Hampton and Armstrong grade well too.

Joe has a bad habit of dribbling down into the paint among the lumberjacks and too many times shots are rejected or he gets his pocket picked. I wish he’d just look to make a pass instead. He did make a nice mid range jumper last night but that has been more the exception than the rule.

Once he gets near the basket he is looking to pass rather than shoot. He is not a threat to take it strong to the basket like Chase or Beadle can. I don’t think Girard should stop driving, he should just look for the pass earlier or pull up and take the short jumper like he did a couple of times and like Beadle was doing.
