Hitting coach/assistants?

Feb 13, 2015, 9:36 PM

All this gripe after only one game but to me today just felt like an extension of last season instead of the start of a new season.... Who is our hitting coach? How long has he been here in that role? NO excuse not to have come out smackin' the ball all over the field in the opener. I never seem to hear about assistant coaching changes in the baseball program. Do we really keep the same underachieving coaches year after disappointing year?

The hitting coach is Bradley Lecroy I believe and our hitting has drastically went down
under his watch. But he is a decent recruiter and gets a pass from a lot of people
Something has to give, if you can't hit the ball it doesn't matter how good the recruits are
The approach at the plate looked awful today as it did last year and years before. The line-up
looks almost the same as last year with the exception of 1 or 2. So you got the same guy coaching the same line-up last year, is their any reason for any optimism.I know it's the first game and everything but I can see another long year ahead

We just got taylor harbin in this year. One of the better Clemson hitters I can think of. I believe he was supposed to come in and help coach with the hitting. It's one game and it was pretty cold. I wouldn't throw everyone under the bus yet. However, it certainly doesn't look promising. Looked eerily similar to last years team.
