Comfortable operating on the move and has frequently been asked to sprint out and connect with in or out-breaking targets. Exits high school as a two-year starter, having completed just over 63 percent of his passes. More notably, rushed for 1,159 yards as a senior while averaging 10.3 yards per carry. Will likely need a few semesters to fine-tune his mechanics and learn how to dissect complex college defenses, but should be viewed as an athletic signal caller with developmental upside that can thrive in an RPO-heavy spread attack.”

He “Enters 2025 credited with 31 tackles (4.5 for loss), one sack, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 405 career defensive snaps over 19 games (four starts).”.

Bowers was presented the award at a banquet in Charlotte, N.C.”

January 4: Mike Noonan is named as Clemson's fourth soccer coach, replacing former Clemson assistant coach Phil Hindson, who stepped into the role in June 2009 after Trevor Adair's resignation. At the end of the 2010 regular season, Dabo was not only on the hot seat, he thought he was about to be shown the door!

“When Swinney got to his office with the Tigers at 6-6 after that South Carolina game, there waited the athletic director who had surprisingly named him interim coach in October 2008 before hiring him as head coach at the end of that season.

“Well, we did the best we could. It was a quick ride,” Swinney recalled thinking before walking into the room. “I literally didn’t know if he was going to say hey, we have to make a change or whatever.”

Swinney still vividly remembers that conversation with Phillips, who retired in 2012, a year after the Tigers won their first ACC title in 20 years.

“He said, ‘I’m going to tell you something. I believe in you more right now than I did when I hired you.’ He said, ‘I have no doubt. That’s when Dabo publicly promised something that I was certain he would not actually deliver. From the same AP News article:

“And Swinney soon after publicly declared that the Tigers would have their winningest decade ever by time 2020 arrived.”

Best decade ever? Really? In my heart I wanted to believe it. But I didn’t really.

- I could not have been more wrong!

Dabo did deliver Clemson’s best decade ever!! And Dabo is not done yet with this decade as well!!
