Nobody hated sat night more than me...., but after hearing a radio guy spouting off , I looked up some stuff -
We don't have a patent on being ranked highly and getting handled , I quit looking up some scores, but here's a list:
12-1 Florida loses to Nebraska 62-24 9-2 Florida loses to Tenn 45-3 10-3 FSU loses to Okla 47-17 11-0 FSU loses to Fla 52-20 11-1 FSU loses to Miami 31-0 12-0 Oh St loses to Fla 41-14 9-3 Oh St loses to Penn St 63-14 10-2 Oh St loses to Wash 40-7 8-2 Bama loses to Tenn 41-14 11-1 Bama loses to Fla 35-0 10-3 Ga loses to LSU 42-10 10-2 Ga loses to Fla 49-10
They are endless.....

but they respond after losing one.
We'll find out this weekend if we have a great team.

uncommon & that it doesn't define our season. Perhaps he is attempting to give some hope to people like you, who seem to be stuck lingering on how badly we played instead of moving on with your life like a healthy human being.

Clemson should be able to be competitive with any team in the US. There is nothing shameful about losing in a close, hard fought game. Losing like we did to WV and FSU is totally unacceptable, and if the coaches' take on it is "they (the Clemson players) didn't play well" or "we've had a bad little run here", I don't think they have a good grasp of the problem, much less what is required.
Can you imagine the conversations in Alabama if the Crimson Tide had lost 51-14?

I'm past listening to what they say. They will either perform, or they won't. And the Clemson Nation will accept it, or they won't.
I've seen good performance. I know what it feels like. And I've also seen enough PC speech to last me a lifetime. I respect straight talk, and we are not getting it. In my humble opinion.

Even the mighty Nick Saban has had some bad losses at home.
2000 LSU: 9-41 vs Florida
2001 LSU: 15-44 vs Florida
2002 LSU: 0-31 vs Alabama

The point I got from the post was that great teams with great records are immune from getting best bad and that ALL teams have bad nights.***
