guy was supposed to be the next young hot coach not longo...i remember when he was kissing his players on the cheek at houston.....then he got the texas job.....thats been memory holed already.....now he's failed at FAU....he turned into a disaster.

I remember he had some weird fight going with urban meyer after he was gone as OF of ohio state...meh both guys are scum bags.

Same. I remember watching that big bowl victory over FSU with him celebrating with his wife and kids on the field after the game to conclude their magical 2015 season. Then Texas hired him a year later, seemed like he was one of the hottest names around, people expected big things. Man, what a fall from grace it's been for him.

Finkel fired his OC yesterday. Could be that he wanted to announce Longo was fired before FAU announced Herman was fired.

Disclaimer: I'm not smart enough to connect those dots. Got it from an FSU board in a thread I started wondering if Herman would be a candidate for FSU OC.
