I mean, you couldn't write a parody better than this:
1. The hollow thanks to the old program.
2. The infamous "With that being said" which has become so overused in these types of disingenuous public statements that it's comical at this point.
3. "Withdraw my commitment" and "spend my next 4 years" are similarly familiar platitudes.
4. The random Bible verse to demonstrate supreme moral character.
5. New post announcing the new school literally SIX MINUTES after the previous post was made, despite the destination being left intentionally unnamed in the previous post, implying it could still be undecided.
6. "#THINKBIG" generic, meaningless hashtag.
7. "#committed" ...I don't think I even need to explain this one.
8. The gold bars at the bottom are painfully symbolic.

New era of immediate satisfaction of the entitled youngsters! He wont graduate from ND and will transfer somewhere like UMASS where he can start 2yrs from now. Then after they develop him some more he will transfer to a P4 like Kentucky, Louisville, VT, Mizzou, somewhere like that and maybe start? But collect one more check.

We didn't take a QB in the last cycle because of an agreement with him. Then, after that cycle, and towards the end of this one, he bails on us when ND threw money at him. So we altered our recruiting based on his word, to demonstrate our commitment to him, in such a way that harmed us if he broke his word, especially the timing of it. It's not your normal situation.

I know some of you are not as dumb as you sound. These eventualities are all covered. We will get a QB either from HS or the portal. The Hand Ringing amazes me. We have been a winning program for a lot of years now. We will continue on that path. Take a chill pill. The powers that be will take care of it.

OK, just say you and your neighbor make a deal with something that is an important factor for you, then at the time this deal the two of you made months ago needs to be completed, your phone rings and it's your neighbor calling you to let you that he's no longer interested in the deal, and he wasn't going through with it, how would feel about your neighbor from then on???

They are getting as much gold as possible before the standard Salary agreement comes out where you can spend 22 million on payroll.
How much for the QB? He won’t have much say in what ND pays him because he’s already getting paid but QB’s who wait will have more say in salary +NIL next season.

Think back to when you were 17 years old. Imagine someone coming along and offered you more money than you were currently being offered. Now imagine you today and some company comes along and offers you a higher salary doing the same thing. You would jump on both offers
