Interesting. I thought she started covering Penn State football right out of college in around 2002 or 2003 for some small PA paper and then joined ESPN in 2007.

But if you say five years then you are probably correct.

whatever current event her handlers have prepped her for; it's unlikely she has much of a football knowledge base to draw from which is normal but typical when a position is filled based on dei requirements—
