I wouldn't have to be there to know that it makes a sound, and I will promise you depending on how big of a tree that fell and if big enough it will make a crashing sound even if the world is empty of humans!!!
When I bought my house and land it had some huge Pine trees to close to the house and I fired up my chainsaw and cut them down. A few of them was big enough that they shook the ground under my feet when they hit!!!

I don't guess that any of us could tell for a fact that he is there unless we went to the athletic department and tell them that you need to speak with Mickey bc you just ran into his vehicle out in the parking lot

It will be interesting what the new DC will be able to do with his side of the ball. I don’t believe Riley brought anyone with him in an on field capacity.

Our S don't leverage the ball well and take bad angles ALL THE TIME. Coach Reed has helped him with recruiting but he just isn't good enough for a program like Clemson IMO.

Hey wait a minute!!! What do you mean is Conn still on the staff? He's Dabo's best friend and is not going anywhere. Reed will be the sacrificial @ss of this debacle. Instead of just standing out front and being a true leader and admitting that the hire of Wes (instead of Reed or Eason who were much more qualified) as DC was a mistake, Dabo will say Reed's departure was mutually agreed upon. We all know, as does Dabo, it is much easier for Reed to find another job than it is for Conn. Conn will remain on staff in some capacity. As for Reed, despite being a top recruiter, developer of talent and great representation of Clemson, sometimes being good is not enough. Just last year, Reed spoke of his loyalty to Clemson football, having turned down offers from UGA and Ohio State. Even though loyalty and being one of the best at your job are commendable traits, sometimes it's not always enough and loyalty has an expiration date. Let this serve as a lesson.

Reed isn't going anywhere. Dabo got rid of Lamanski who was his buddy, Dabo will get rid of Conn if he decides it is best for Clemson

I really don't think that Reed is going anywhere with the exception of maybe on vacation!!! It's my belief that Goodwin was the only coach on the D side of the ball that was asked to move out of the DC office. I'm just wondering if Dabo bothered to offer Goodwin his old job back as an analyst!!!

And that was my hope about halfway into the season, that he’d remove him from the DC post and offer him his old analyst position back. Not that he’d take it, but that he’d offer it at least.

Unless a person is just in a crucial situation with their financial situation, it's very unlikely they would accept a lesser position after just being fired from a much better position!!!
