Could you please be a little more precise. On exactly what planet will you ever find a coot that would admit we were ELITE even with 5 straight NC wins. And 45 of our 85 recruits actually being 5 star recruits . Honest answer please, good luck!!!

If OU offers BV the HC job... he's gone. Nobody says "One day, I want to be SVP of Operations!" People wanna be CEO. BV is good people, but he wants to lead a major program, just like every other assistant on the planet.

havw raised the talent level of NOT just the 1st string, but the 2nd and 3rd teams as well.....to the point where actually earning significant playing time will put players in something of an elite group.
Dabo may not be the best "coach" in cfb, but he's danged close to be being the best CEO in cfb. He's hired a terrific group of co-ordinators, coaches, and recruiters who collectively have made Clemson football a destination once again.

Agree with the above, plus Dabo has treated his coaches very well. We have some of the best paid assistant coaches in cfb. Plus he takes them on vacation after the end of the season. It's not an ego trip with him and it shows with the respect he gives his coaches and vice-versa. I can't remember when I have felt so excited about the future of Clemson. We To Deep!!!

in a position of having top prospects jump on an offer from CU so early and with such numbers? Almost as if the tables have turned and one jumps on the offer because another top talent will get it if not. I feel like I might garden or something on signing day next year.

Saban or any other considered to be elite coaches could win without great assistant coaches. And that's what Dabo has done at Clemson, made great assistant hires....
