Here's an excerpt.
"He don't do the portal" confirmed former Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins, appearing on Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey's Punch Line Podcast. "He hates NIL too, though."
But when Wiggins' agent went to request more NIL funds to stay in lieu of a potential transfer to Oregon, he received extensive pushback from the staff, a fact that confused Wiggins.
"If he don't pay nobody, eventually they're going to leave," he said on the podcast. "So you ain't going to have a team."

When did he ask. If it was the year that he got toasted at Wake Forest, I would have told him to hit the bricks.

If an employee comes and says "I need more money or else", it's time to let them go. There is a thing called internal equity, and it upsets employees more than external equity. They offered him what they thought was a fair NIL and he wanted more. It's sour grapes but makes good click bait.

This attitude is why job-hopping has become the norm. Employees who are "loyal" to a company are rewarded by being underpaid compared to what they could get by changing companies.

His comments about Clemson were:
"If you play you get paid"
"Everyone on the team gets paid. If you start you...." (insinuating they get more)
-He said his agent negotiated his deals and you can close a deal or get money at any time.
-He said Dabo doesn't do the portal (he doesn't)
-He said Dabo doesn't like NIL (he doesn't. He favors revenue sharing)
-When Marlon Humphrey asked "But he does do NIL, you did get NIL though?" and Wiggins responded "Yeah, if he don't pay them they'll leave and he won't have a team"
-His biggest bad take was not knowing the history behind Howard's rock and not knowing who Frank Howard was. Also admitting to not fully participating in mandatory study hall.

If that's his experience at Clemson what's wrong with that.

3rd parties and now I guess there are some things like 110 initiative that facilitate opportunities, but school (Dabo and Athletic Dept) still can't do direct NIL unless I'm mistaken. Open to be educated if I'm wrong.

The NCAA is a lame duck and can do absolutely nothing about it per courts.
