Cade needs to stop talking and actually perform. All we heard leading up to the game was how great everything was and how much he's learned and how he'll be even better this season. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

And I think his teammates know it and it looks like a lot do not even like him. Not one O lineman reached or tried to help him yesterday, and that goes back to last year as well. We need to buy the best QB in the portal or in recruiting this coming year.

If Dabo really cared about his recruits he would honest with them when it’s obvious there is not a future in football and tell them to focus on their education. Just saying.

I don't think they have liked Cade much at all. He is a silver spoon with parents rich AF. I heard he promised them and the coaches he has changed, so the jury is still out on that. I agree--- he should have probably kept his mouth shut. Nobody wants to hear that trash when the offense couldn't score a td in 4 quarters.

They are not playing their best players. Randall and turner are not better than wesco and Moore, and from what we saw in the spring game Pearman is better than Cade. Yet they didn't play wesco or Moore until 4th quarter when it was too late.

The cynic in me can't help but think this is just more of a show for Dabo to make it harder for him to be benched. We know Dabo carries those soft spots for under-performing QBs who walk and talk a good game.
I know this may come across as a bit harsh but I'm just so frustrated to see us put ourselves in this position when we could and should have done something about it much earlier.

I saw some improvement in the O line in the first half, but like I said when Dabo hired Matt Luke, don't expect to see a lot of change early in the season bc Rome wasn't built in a day, and Luke can't change our O line in as little time as he's had with this team, but he will get it done, and he will have enough done by the time we go to FSU that we'll see a lot of change in our O line. The O line and play calling IMO is our biggest problem!!!

Cade Klubnik seems like a fine young man. But he is not an elite quarterback. The natural gifts just aren’t there. But remember how frustrated we all were when Dabo refused to bench DJU and give Cade a shot? Now we are just as frustrated with Cade. Makes you wonder . . .

It's one game, and it's a lot less of a game if we can come off it improving every week (no quicksand says Shane Falco). No doubt There are a lot of questions out there that will ultimately be answered.
But not many problems ever got worse from dedicated hard work. If Cade can be better, and support his peers to be better, those are easy steps to take in the right direction that CAN yield better results.
Plenty of football left to play. Let's go Tigers. Pick yourselves up and get nasty.

I agree it’s not all on Cade, but what we saw yesterday was 100% on the offensive coaching staff from Dabo down. I understand losing to UGA, but why does the offense look so out of sync again? They have a golden opportunity next week to silence the doubters with a solid win, but we have waiting for that for 4 years now. The glory years are over and as a fan base we should be demanding better, but seems some on here are either blind to reality or don’t believe Clemson is a good enough university to be elite. I think we can and should be elite year after year.

Cade naads to be the one rallied, maybe more than anyone else on the team. If Cade struggles early against App State, I would love for Dabo to bench him for a couple of series to see what Pearman or Viz can do.
