Looks like our recruiting didn't pick up until 2006. And remember everyone who said that Tommy's teams underachieved because we had more talent than most teams we played. Those rankings would seem to debunk those statements.

Gilliam switched to DB and Jefferson transferred to Western Carolina. So that whole class didn't included a WR in the long haul.

That is pretty sad. Our best recruit was Maurice Nelson, who sucked, and our best players from that group turned out to be Billie and Watkins.

I remember those days. Some can be a bit short sighted when it comes to recruiting and the football program as a whole.

I remember seeing Jacoby Ford and CJ Spiller first game at Clemson, it was a different level speed. We had not seen that type of speed from a recruit.
