Just not in my wheel house to idolize another man and wear his jersey . Hey babe let’s go watch a game and I will wear John does jersey while I’m in the stand with you . In a nut shell be yourself and quit placing other men on high pedestals, not a good look .

What a weird take.
If I am choosing fan apparel, I usually buy a generic item with no number or name, but it's purely economic. I do have a #16 that I wear frequently. I'm glad I don't have weird macho hangups.

I’ve never cried but I’ve been sick to my stomach before 😆. The year we lost to Bama in Glendale made me sick. We could’ve won that game and I wondered if we would get there again and we DID the next year in Tampa and I was happy as He&@. I was at both games and it was from one extreme to the other.

I haven’t cried over a loss but the 16 natty win I think my wife must have been cutting onions in the house that night. But now my 11 yr old son has definitely cried over a couple losses. He cried walking out of the stadium after we lost to FSU this year. This sweet lady who was a FSU fan saw him genuinely felt bad for him. She tried to talk to him and tell him it was gonna be ok but he wasn’t having any of it. Little fella took it hard. He wouldn’t have survived in the 90’s and earlier 2000’s.

I’m just too MAD to cry whenever the Tigers lose.
I think I shed a tear or two after the 2018 National Championship.
That 2016 climb back to the top of the mountain was a LONG time removed from when the Tigers made it to the top the 1st time when I was a student at Clemson. It had been a long, aimless trek through the desert leading up to that 2016 run.
When that championship oasis was found, I was just a flood of emotions taking me back to those student years.

#### yea. When I was a kid I’d cry after every loss. I remember my parents and I driving home after some long games in the 70’s. Specifically, I was upset when we lost to Bama in the early 70’s.

Only once: UGA 1982 - as I will learn over time, typically when we face UGA, we outplay them but they still somehow find a way to win. This was a tough wakeup call to 9 year old me.

Loss to dirt peckers. I was young teens sitting in middle of coot section lower deck north. 1984. Darn that safety and do over extra point. I was convinced we couldn’t lose to them at Death Valley.

Ha. I cried the whole second half in the 1 point loss to the coots two years ago when I saw how Streeter and Dabo were stubbornly not changing on that horrible offense with DJU and running the #### ball down the coots throats like everyone else had done that year.

I mean I was obsessed and young so what I remember LSU in the natty and notre dame 2020. I really wasn't social at all during COVID darkest part of my life but Clemson was a escape I watched every game end to end that season. Football was a escape that year I remember staying up till 12 watching maction on any given week night. Looking back yeah it was immature to cry over kids 6 to 10 years older than me at the time. I got over it a bit with the Ohio state playoff game I was just mad didn't cry. I guess the closet I have gotten since was the South Carolina game last year honestly was more mad and sad or what ever over that game just didn't cry I was just in shock. Things have gotten much better since the whole COVID thing most of it was not being in school I made some new friends who I am still close with today heck made one into a Clemson basketball fan. I know this was a rambling post and personal but just felt if im gonna tell part of it gotta tell all of it

I remember when I was in middle school (2006ish) being more nervous before Clemson games than I would be before playing quarterback for my middle school football games. Ive always taken Clemson football serious. Big lump in my throat and embarrassed after being shellacked by LSU in the Natty but no tears fell.

I never cried over a Clemson loss, but I felt depressed over a loss back in the beginning of November 2003 when Clemson got their butts kicked by Wake Forest in Winston-Salem where the final score ended up being 45-17. During a road trip where my dad and I drove on US HWY 29 all the way to Baltimore (where that hwy ends) and back, we decided to stop by the Clemson vs Wake Forest game on the way back home. Because of how badly the game was going, we decided to leave early before halftime. I had already been having a difficult morning that day.
A time I recall actually crying over a football game loss was back during a Dallas Cowboys vs SF 49'er's game, which was the NFC Champ game of the '94-'95 season in which the Cowboys lost. Growing up, the Cowboys were my favorite NFL team.

Maybe not a loss but my allergies sure did flare up one night in Raymond James stadium when a walk-on caught a pass with 2 seconds to go. Maybe it was the gulf air that night.

I will play along.
First time, I tear'd up was in 1991 when we lost to UNCC in Littlejohn. My older brother who was a UNCC grad brought my family tickets for Christmas. We went with his friends, and the bad guys won. I was 11 at the time. I did not bawl, but I did have some tears on the ride home. I was disappointed. The year before in Charlotte we had beat them by like 20+ points. What happend? One of the 2 Twin Towers, Eldin Campbell, was playing for the Lakers. I learned that season you had to be tough to be a Clemson Basketball fan!
I tear'd up when we lost the 2001 National Concrete Canoe Competition. I was one of the leaders, and we placed 2nd that year. We had won the 2 previous years. The team put a lot of effort into trying to win that year, and we came up just a bit short. Helped propel us the following year when we won in 2002.
I did tear up a bit when I watched us from the front row come so close in Phoenix in 2015. I was/ am very proud of the football team that year. That was a fun year! I still think that team was better than Alabama. Injuries and a well timed great trick play got us that night. So you tip your cap.
It did make the following year in Tampa pretty sweat, and I did tear up when the timer read 0:00 that night!
A lot of fun times watching, and participating as a Tiger!

Not for a loss. Maybe for a win? Or maybe it was because my daughter was the mascot on the field? Or maybe just a super proud and happy moment all the way around.

I've never cried over a loss, but I did literally miss the seat on the way down when Tate George hit that friggin' bucket in the sweet 16.

The only reason I watch football on TV is to see the losing teams fans cry.
I don't cry but I'm a man. Men don't cry.
