The only one I can remember seeing play against us that felt as scary as him was Buster Posey. I’m sure there were a lot of others earlier before my time but he is an incredible talent.
Every time his bat touches the ball it’s just launched.

I can't believe Seth has spent six years in the minors. I thought two at most then on to the show.

As a DH maybe. He won't have an MLB career on the mound

Mathes only put hands on him because he was in the baseline.

He’s got talent for sure. Still say he instigated 2nd inning mess. Why didn’t he just reach out and tag runner Narwacki? Pardon my spelling.

Not until he can hit a breaking ball. Struck out twice chasing nasty breaking balls.

this right here. he struck me as a free swinger. but with his raw power, a lot of balls that he didn't hit flush still ended up as hits. MLB pitching will humble him real quick.

So hard to tell. There is sooo much difference in metal composite bats and wood. Two of the HRs he got this weekend would have been outs with a wooden bat. Especially the opposite field homer. He’ll have to learn to drive the ball in the pros. Similar to the way Freeman hits oppo. Not many guys can launch balls to opposite field with wooden bats against MLB pitchers bc you have to cover the entire plate and be able to still not get beat on an inside pitch. This is where pro pitchers shatter wooden bats. Acuña is probably the best in MLB at entire plate coverage and power to every field. Probably more to opposite. As a whole, college pitchers don’t establish the inside part of the plate. This allows him to crowd the plate and take away the inner half. He won’t be able to do that in the pros. Can he adjust? Yes. Is he a pro hitter right now? No. Does he have a high ceiling? Absolutely.
FWIW I think Vance Honeycutt, Travis Basana, and Charlie Condon are more pro ready hitters right now.
Also FWIW, Khalil Greene was the most dangerous hitter in college baseball his senior year. He was a line drive doubles machine and very rarely struck out. Had a near .600 on base percentage and batted .470. He also fielded.975 at SS that year.

Caglianone will be 1st base/DH MLB talent. Seems very similar athletically to Caden Grice, but more advanced as a hitter. Like everyone, to make and stay in the majors he has to handle the breaking balls and changeups. I think it was Gordon (maybe Darden?) that made him look silly in his final at bat. Raw talent is off the charts, so I can understand the top 5 draft projection.

Some of you guys are big time haters lol. The guy hit OVER .400 with 30+ HRs and getting walked 50+ times. Dude is legit. Imagine what those numbers at Clemson would be with Blake or Cam hitting behind him.
