this crap is affecting me big time. I perform State mandated smoke alarm inspections on rental properties in Virginia. I have about 2000 properties i check. I'm considered an essential worker but Property managers have halted them. Not much I can do about it. I'm now about 200 inspections behind schedule, which is quite a bit of money for just the insp fee. That's not even including the isntalls I charge for.
I'm now applying for unemployment through the company I own because of this.

A tax credit to be used at my choosing over the next 'x' years. Actually, a double credit would be sweet. At least the gov't keeps the money for now (or for others) and the credit is a future application. But, I'm just a dumb voter...what do I know what's good for me...or others?

Checks haven't been mailed yet so if they don't have an account linked to your 2018 filing, you may have to wait on mail.
Plus, the checks are delayed a bit because they are making a change to put Trump's name on them.
From what I've read, haven't seen any mention of using accounts linked to SS payments. Just tax returns.

Once again, you run with incomplete information.
The checks affected by the Trump signature in the memo line are the ones that already were scheduled to be the last sent out, in about 10 days. That's why the 'delay' isn't really a delay.
I know you and your friends had already leapt to the conclusion that "Trump is going to delay getting money to the people who need it so he can get his name on the check."
Once again, two half truths do not add up to one whole truth.
Are you sure you're a professor? That's kinda scary.
