Anyone drafted in the first 10 rounds is pretty much already signed

Most cases yeah, but with NIL now I was hoping getting through the first 3 rds or so would still be manageable. But def not from an LA or NY team

Yeah last recent interview I saw said he was settled in and it would take a lot....tho 745k is a lot!
“It’ll come down to the amount of money that’s right for me, financially,” said Harlan said in a recent interview. “I’ve already settled here at Clemson. I love it here. It’s a special place. I’ve got a big decision to make. It’s definitely one of the more stressful processes. It’s a decision you make for your career and what you’ll do for a living.”
We'll see, I wouldn't blame him at all for leaving. But he seemed to love it here. Idk if late 3rd was where he was hoping or not.

We’ll have to wait and see because nothings official yet, contrary to the “insiders” around here. But like you mentioned, $745,000 is a lot of moolah. Add that to whatever signing bonus he’ll get and he’s more than likely gone. Time will tell.

$745K is the slot money for that pick. LA could go over, but they don't have a lot of bonus pool $$$, most likely signing him under bonus. Now that $745K becomes a lot less after taxes and agent fees. It's paid out over two years so roughly $240 +/- a year.
Now if he comes to CU and plays well he could work himspef into a 1st rounder and that is life changing $$$ in bonus, plus the team give you a lot of room for failure.

This...
There's an art to draft pick and bonus money...it's not longer "oh hi 3rd rounder, here's your million dollar bonus"....
With that said, he should take the money and report to rookie ball in AZ asap...

i guess the small detail that he is already in clemson and loves it means nothing. he has a big decision but i guess cootcharlie knows all.

It means nothing. Brock Porter said the exact same thing…… they all say it. It’s “player speak”
