Doc just grabbed me by the feet, and pulled me on out through the gate. I suspect my mom probably expressed some vocal displeasure and then relief at this juncture.

That night 42 years ago was my 21st birthday, and it was also the last episode of M*A*S*H.
We went to the liquor store and bought a commemorative M*A*S*H 4077 bottle of gin... A M*A*S*H 4077 party ensued on F-5 Annex in Johnstone.

Happy Birthday! I, too, was born in the old Greenville General Hospital. Only 22yrs. and 9 mos. before you were. My father still has the receipt where he had to pay $43 for my birth. That was the total and they didn't have insurance at the time.

Congrats reaching 42. Son was born there almost 41 years ago and oldest daughter was born 4 years 8 months later at brand new GMH. I arrived at GGH 75 years and 7 months ago. Seems like just yesterday.
