Halftime Festivities - Thank you!

Just wanted to pass this along about the filming at halftime -
My buddy is actually producing the film for Disney, and he said this was a once in a lifetime experience to be a part of that environment on set. Better than anything they could have ever drawn up. He also said that Disney couldn't have paid for the value they received from the extras, the atmosphere, the cheers (and boos), etc.... It's going to make for a very successful film. So, he wanted me to share his thanks for being awesome, and I wanted to thank everyone for showing him what it means to be a Tiger and giving him a memory he will never forget.
And, as always, GO Tigers!

Dare we say...dynasty? Dabo has built something special with the support of a lot of Tiger fans. The best has yet to come.

fans roll. Everybody around us thought it was really fun to be apart of it and also enjoyed seeing how organized and prepared they were when filming the scenes. I can't wait to see the finished product. And once again, Dabo, could have paid for this kind of publicity for his school and program.
Well, I guess HE could, but the rest of us couldn't.

Neither can I! Great for everyone involved. He said they practiced for weeks because they were only allotted 7-minutes to capture every scene they needed on the field.

I don't remember signing a waiver that my image could be used without compensation.
(Just kidding - I was actually at home watching from my recliner)

Nice try ‘65, but isn’t/wasn’t the Disney folks first rodeo

Prior to halftime the PA announcer informed us about the film(ing) and advised: “If you don’t want to be in the film, leave your seats at halftime.” Clever dudes! BTW: I don’t think I saw anyone leave.
As for the Disney crew and actors, they were good at what they do! It was impressive to see ‘how the sausage is made’ - and all these years I had taken it for granted that you DIDN’T want to know/see that.
My granddaughter filmed some of it on her phone, but if someone filmed the entire thing, I believe all would get as big a ‘kick’ out of watching the process as all those people sitting around me.
I look forward to seeing Ray Ray and Faymar’s (sp?) story in Safety.
GO TIGERS!!!!

obvious to me that they had practiced that filming sequence multiple times to be able to do it as quickly and smoothly. I wondered if they were having trouble hearing at one point, because it looked like some of the actors were not sure - curious if they had any idea how loud it would be on the field, because, I think that we were louder during filming than the 2005 Miami OT game!!

I honestly do not recall anyone leaving our section at halftime. Was quite impressed how organized the actors and production team worked to get those scenes filmed.
