McElroy is one of the commentators that make me turn down the sound. He's almost never right and his comments are ridiculous. Trevor Lawrence is the best high school QB I have ever seen and I have seen just about all of them. Right now, he's a true freshman and compare him to the other true freshmen you have seen.
The real USC has a true freshman that got his butt kicked by Texas this past weekend. JT Daniels skipped his senior year of high school to go to college ball and some were saying how fabulous he was. TL is much better than Daniels. There is no comparison and Daniels even has his favorite WR from Mater Dei High School that also came to USC and is starting.
McElroy is just another hater with a mic.

He is jealous. He is might as well say he wasn't impressed and isn't impressed by Peyton Manning, Tomy Brady, or Aaron Rodgers, because TL will be in that group one day. McElroy has a bad eye for talent.
