After the visit to the ER, they have cleared me of tuberculosis, meningitis, COVID, FLU-A, FLU-B, Strep, and even Pneumonia. But I do have acute respiratory infection and now I'm on bed rest for the next 3 days. It sucks getting old, I'm not but 41. They took 5 tubes of blood, nasal swab, and tonsil swab.

Whenever I arrived it was like 103.6 because prior to driving there I took Dayquil and a 30 min cold shower.

I think my fever was so high because I ignored it for nearly 3 days. I was under the impression that it was my fall time allergies and didn't pay attention to the symptoms. Lesson learned, and from now on I will get ahead of the curve at the first sign of it. This has been a rough 36 hours.
