them now. A couple of seasons ago it was a player had either 24 or 48 hours ( forget which ) from Jan 18th that they could back out. This was provided that they hadn't signed with an agent. Once they sign they're all in, no turning back. Rule changes then allowed players to talk to an agent, but as long as they didn't sign they were OK with the NCAA and could keep their college eligibility.

for the early draft. Those who haven't signed with an agent then will have 72 hours to back out. This is where the 18th of Jan shows as the deadline.

I think he'll go, he is fast and quite strong just young; the raw talent is there. I bet he goes late 3rd if he performs well in comb.

Good chance he won't get invited to the combine. He will have to show his stuff on pro day at Clemson

I believe it is same agent as Dodd. Not sure what they are telling them but can't imagine TJgoing before 5th round at best.

I think they will judge his whole body of work and not just the busts.
And he will kill his pro day and any other kind of work out he has.
I dk if he gets drafted, but he's gonna be a hell of a player

It's going to greatly depend on the teams needs this year, I think he has a good chance hovering around the 6th/7th rated for this year 2014: 9 safety's drafted 2013: 23 2012: 13

Mel Kiper has him as the number 4 safety in the draft. Kearse as no. 6 safety.

He didn't just leave in hope of being drafted. He sent in his paper work and got a draft grade back from the NFL which was obviously well enough to indicate he would be drafted. He is a freak athlete who has a lot of potential and is only getting better. Remember he has only really played defense the past two years, he came to Clemson as a wide receiver.

I think TJ will be drafted for sure...

He will be more valuable than Kearse I think. He can run faster, his frame is NFL type, and he has kick return experience. I still think he is very raw just like Martavis Bryant was.
Not saying he should've left early but I think TJ will have a solid pro career.

will TJ be the Tajh Boyd of this draft - all measurables

and stats, but no head for the game -
or the Tay Bryant - measurables for sure, but simply not showing his real game in college?
I'm betting NFL'ers think Tiger Woods is right....
and whether they are right or wrong about TJ, that's how they'll pay him in the first contract.
Bad move...

could not disagree more. He will be a late round pick, his athleticism is off the charts, has exceptional ball skills and he is an aggressive, hard nosed player. I do believe he made a mistake though, he is still very raw as a safety and could have been a top pick next year.

He's a great athlete and talent. Just don't know what I'm missing as to why him and Kearse had so many missed assignments. Seemed like there were one or two plays a game where a receiver was 20 yards behind them. Wish them the best and next man up!
