Good grief no, the acting in that thing was horrendous. The greatest game ever played is one that is really underrated and always a good watch.

That would be a good 3 for me though the first two are far from serious. Tin Cup is good. CS is just one of my favorite movies ever.

Sadly there aren’t many golf movies. We need more.
Tin Cup would be my number one and is one of my favorite movies. I watch it from time to time. I love Costner in that one and Field of Dreams.
Happy Gilmore would be number two.
I’ve never been a fan of Caddyshack. Not much more to choose from.
The Best Game Ever Played with Shia LaBeouf was ok.

I was simply pointing out It’s an excellent underrated sports movie by Kevin Costner who has made at least four sports related movies.

1) The Greatest Game Ever Played 2) Tin Cup 3) Caddyshack 4) Happy Gilmore
The story of Francis Ouimet beating Harry Vardon and Ted Ray in the 1913 US Open in a playoff is one of the best underdog stories of all time - great movie if you have never watched it.

A movie that should never have been made. Randy Quaid was the only funny one in it and he had about 5 minutes of screen time. Ghostbusters 2 falls under that category. Hollywood just has no respect for classics.

Because.......Charlize Theron. No further explanation necessary in my book.
Tin Cup, for similar Renee Russo reasons.
Happy Gilmour, the Price was WRONG, beyotch!
Caddyshack, for any number of reasons. Rodney Dangerfield among them.
The Greatest Game Ever Played, because, unlike the others, it is based on a true story. Although in real life, Ouimet smoked Vardon and Ray, by much more than a single shot in the playoff, as Vardon faded badly on the last three holes, and Ray was out of it before that. Hollywood just made it close.

I am a golfer. I have never seen a good golf movie. There just aren’t any. Caddy shack is nothing but silly, childish humor.

I like all the mentioned golf movies for various reasons. But the first one I ever saw was Follow the Sun. The movie didn't age well with Glenn Ford as Ben Hogan. Hogan's story is really a good one and I'd like to see someone remake this movie.
