There are some good eats, The Neighborhood Theater, Evening Muse, but there are too many hipsters and smelly hippies, no parking anymore, and they would put a high-rise condo building in a milk crate if it would fit.

around up there but anytime we went it was always for music. We never really went up there to go bar-hopping. I would say Plaza Midwood made me more nervous in that regard back in those days. It's meeting the same condominious fate as NoDa is...

I've always tied NoDa and Plaza together a bit for some reason. I guess because they are a grittier part of town, but I have definitely always been a bigger Plaza fan.

Last show at the Viz was Southern Culture on the Skids in mid-December. We'll be there in February for Uncle Lucius.
Of course, those percentages change drastically when I add Thirsty Beaver. I'd say we average two Sundays a month at the Beaver, and we've had more than a handful of 4 straight Sundays over the years.
