Good spot to watch the game in old Charleston?

We do Labor Day in Charleston every year but this year the noon kickoff has me scrambling to find a spot downtown to belly up and tune in.
Now, I've watched many a Clemson/college football game at Tommy Condon's. But is there an even better spot in the Quarter that I might not have heard of?
Thanks.

While I've never drank AT Tommy Condons my dad used to drink WITH Tommy Condon. I was born and raised in Charleston but unfortunately all the places I used to frequent as a young (sometimes legal) drinker are gone. Also are they really calling that part of town the quarter? That's not how I remember it; though I haven't really lived there since I left for Clemson.

My family has been in Chas since 1720 and I’ve never heard it referred to as the quarter either, strange!

On the map it's the French Quarter.

Maybe Condon's is a block or three beyond the boundaries of the Quarter but who's counting?
But given where we're staying, anything in that area would be good if not Condon's.

while in Charleston on business.
I spotted the "Hurricane Hugo High Water Mark" plaque on the wall just inside the entrance and that made an impression me as a landlocked Texan.
Now that I've survived a major hurricane myself, seeing that plaque means something different than it did back then.
Gotta respect any business that can come back after that.
Charleston is always a revelation. Always love going.

Thursday there is a meeting downtown at the Biergarten (used to be Arizonas, then the boathouse) on East Bay. Maybe Saturday will be there too, but not sure.

The upper east side is where it's at nowadays.
Edmonds Oast Brewery, Home Team BBQ,both good places to hang out with open spaces. Behind Home Team BBQ is Lewis BBQ, which is some of the best BBQ in the state, if not top 10 in the country.

Lewis is overrated, my office is about 2 minute walk from there. It’s more of a tourist spot, Hometeam is where the locals go but the owners are all UGA grads but will probably be more Clemson fans than uga

Y'all are crazy, Lewis is not overrated. I've been to a ton of places all over Texas but not san Marco.
But Lewis' brisket, pulled pork are legit. Ive had better beef rib at Terry Blacks in Austin TX

I can agree with the brisket - it's a must anytime I visit.
However, their pulled pork is definitely not worth it on pricing. You can go to Duke's BBQ in a small town and get the same if not better quality for less.

I can’t imagine picking hometeam over Lewis. Maybe if you didn’t want to wait in line or something.

Place called Bumpa's is on Cumberland. They have a few tvs. Decent food. Also Mac's Place on east bay at Market st. It's another irish bar but more sports bar than Tommy's. It can ba s***show at times with the college crowd. The Blind Tiger on broad has a few tvs as well. All in that area.

I watched the 1981 Orange Bowl at Whistler’s on Market St. That may be the last Clemson game I watched in a bar in downtown Charleston. 😂😂

You could have had a good atmosphere at Wild Wing Cafe, but they shut the one down on Market Street. You'd have to drive over to the Mt. Pleasant location.
My second best suggestion is shut down, so I'm told.
Might as well go to one of the Buffalo Wild Wings locations. The one at the outlet malls allows smoking, which really bothers me now, so I'd drive on up to the one on Dorchester Road. Or just go to Hooters there near Best Buy (I assume both are still in the same neighborhood in N Charleston).
