For some of you to realize that we are not a serious program with this version of Dabo at the helm?
I’m forever grateful for what he has done for the program but that’s not enough to let him drag us back to the mud.
Adapt or die and we’re dying.

A large portion of the fanbase doesn't really care about winning anymore. It's more about Dabo than Clemson football to them, but they'll never admit it.

And I assume you weren’t even alive to see Hatfield or West. Clearly you got it all figured out; so tell us what will be the college operating model in 5 years? Will NIL still be there, the portal, what conference will we be in….? I mean you’re spitting facts here so obviously you know all of those things.
We’ve done far far too little in the portal and I think it has cost us, but I’m not ready to say it’s time to kick to the curb the most successful coach we’ve ever had. I expect us to use the portal this year and I also expect that the 20M payroll from the house settlement will be another game changer in the sport. Relax grasshopper and quit being so basic.

just wait for 2-3 years from now when we feel the full brunt of his lack of recruiting. It's been lackadaisical lately but the complete refusal to adapt has put us in a hole we won't be able to climb out of. 13 recruits in a class just isn't even serious anymore. We have no plan for attrition (other than Daniel High School) and there's desire to fight for recruits. Like it or not CFB Recruiting is one big bidding war. It's a nasty game that Dabo has no desire to play. I almost wish he'd be honest and just tear down the "Best is the Standard" motto. Best is not the standard anymore. If it was he'd adapt.
My best guess is we'll see him take the Tony Bennett route in the next few years. His stubbornness will continue to sour fans which is a shame because he is a nice guy. But nice guys don't always win. And as Dabo said "The fun is in the winning".

In the 3 years since we last made the Playoffs, only Michigan made the field every year and out of 12 spots, there has been 8 different teams. As far as conference champions go, Michigan won the Big10 3 of 3, Bama won the SEC 2 of 3 and Utah won the PAC 2 of 3. The ACC and Big12 have had a different winner each year. It is very hard to win in big time football and to assume we or any other team will win any kind of championship every year is just really dumb.

When you walk into an auction with less money than 15+ teams you will not win the most prized pieces. When it was brought up about other conferences making more tv money would hurt. Well here we are we make less money to spend on facilities and coaches and things plus we don’t big boosters that will hand millions of dollars to a single player. I know everyone says its dabo fault. He is trying to do it a different way because he knows we can’t win the bidding wars. I know everyone is gonna say is we have money. When 10 teams have double what you have you don’t have money to be elite. My take if something doesn’t change with nil or we get enough money to be in top we are going to be a top 20 on average some up years some down years.

9 wins is tbe now! Citadel will make 8. Next week isn't looking great and then a low level gets him to 10. Wow! 10 wins and no conference championship or playoffs. No difference between that 10-2 and an 8-4. None both teams could be ranked but it's about championships. Sorry. That's how I feel when tbe coach is top 2 or 3 in the country for salary. If no championships is ok, then let's pays someone 8 million to coach and move on.
