Yea refs started calling it close when the Tigers had a 57-52 and 59-55 lead in the 3rd Qtr.

Absolutely got hosed by the refs... and I very rarely say that. But how they called jump ball when state girl clearly knocked it out w 42 secs is beyond me. Then the no fouls. Unreal stinking conference. I vote b12 if that's our out. Ghesh.
Although loyal can be a bit out of control. She dishes well, but tends to try to do it all.

Poppie should have had them foul once they hit minute and a half mark. They let way too much time go off the clock. State doesn’t have good FT shooting team.
Can’t do that, especially on the road.

We got the tobacco road special. Plain and simple. But we hung with and had a 10 pt lead on the road at 22 ranked state. Great job coach and ladies. Proud of them. Hope we pack lj next game home.

Good playing by the Lady Tigers,proud of their play against a team the women's Basketball program has had sooooo much trouble beating.Just gotta play better Defense that's all there is to it,especially when you led for 8 of the 10 minutes of the 3rd Qtr.

Previous years teams would have collapsed after the NC State run and ended up losing by like 15. But the tigers clawed back after going down 12 late

I'm a Poppie fan. Give him another year to get few more players and I think he will continue to grow the program. Need a couple more athletic shooters. McQueen is the only one that can take it to the basket, others are catch and shoot players.
