If not chase is more than capable of being our qb with wake. He played as well as Kelly, maybe better because our rbs were used where Kelly would have held onto the ball and lost yards

That’s good to hear he was feeling better. That makes me hopeful but if he isn’t able to play this week we play again the 20th so he will have plenty of time to get well and recover from the injury.

DW4 was always so good at avoiding those big hits. Hope TL learns from this and we don't see any more unnecessary risky runs this season. Take the yards when you can get them safely. He's got too good of an arm to be scrambling like that. Go Tigers!

That was my question. The announcers said it wasn’t targeting because he wasn’t a vulnerable player - he was a running back. However if he was out of bounds 6 yards back, wasn’t it then a hit out of bounds? He can only be a running back with the ball if he didn’t go out of bounds.

He was falling down and out of bounds. The refs saw a foot out of bounds but didn't see a defenseless player. That tells us what, that they see only what they want to see, and it just didn't start being that way today!!!

My thoughts too. They did move the ball back to where he stepped out of bounds, and the hit occurred after that. Should have been, at least, a 15 yard penalty for that. I MO
