Why is she considered a racist? I've seen where she's claimed racism, and that she may have gotten involved in the politics of racism, but I haven't found where she's made racist comments.

If that's what you're referring to,
then I do find it a bit mealy-mouthed, but I certainly can't say it's racist.
Maybe a little shrill, but not racist.
Possibly a steeped in identity politics, but not racist.
Staley's always put off an Iversonesque vibe where they say what they think and tend to mean what they say, and it annoys a lot of people. I have that same streak and can attest.
Sounds like she just took a position and stuck with it, and won't kowtow when things get uncomfortable for her.

because I don't really know a lot about her, but one thing for sure -
She can coach. Big time. Undefeated last year. Lose every starter. Undefeated again.
My son works at the Grand Bohemian downtown where the team (and many of their fans) stayed over the weekend. I'd love to see our girls get that kind of love from the Clemson fan base. The place was packed with Gamecock fans and they were like celebrities. Meanwhile, I'll be the average Clemson fan couldn't even name our head coach much less one player. I don't think our girls work any less harder than theirs - just more talent and better coaching. But would love to see their hard work rewarded with that kind of celebration and attention. It's gotta suck playing in a 6000 seat stadium (or whatever) to only 500 or 1000 at best (seems like, anyway).
