I give them all the credit in the world, but still, they just walked right in and dominated the ACC. They win three games tops in the SEC. Likely only 2.

Florida. Arkansas, Miss State, Kentucky.
SMU would likely be competitive with most of the rest. Like it or not, they're pretty good.
As for "walked right in and dominated the ACC", Notre Dame 2020 did that until the ACCCG.

Notre Dame didn't exist in the Group of 5 with G5 recruiting and money the years up to 2020. Big Difference.

Well the. Go back to the ACC!!
Besides SMU is not the best team in the ACC!
But if they are you just display your ignorance on the college landscape. SMU has as much or more resources than anybody and when you can pay players they are on an equal playing field with the top teams!
But hey there is a lot of Football to play!!

Categorically false. If you listen carefully to his comments on the portal, he's always left the door open to the possibility of using the portal. You can interpret that any way you want. It's the media that's run with the narrative that Dabo "hates" the portal.
