Been down on him for several years about some of his in game coaching decisions, and his inability to recruit higher echelon basketball talent. It seemed like a lot of his players, especially big men were always projects and were not fundamentally sound. There was also the problem that every year we had several players transfer. But all of that has now prepared him, for what appears now to be a pretty good job of putting together a “new” team every year in this portal/nil world. Watching the New Hampshire game, you had to be impressed as to how fundamentally sound every player on the court was, not to mention how well they played defense. We will see how Brad does as the competition gets tougher, but BB deserves a lot of credit for being able to transition himself to this point in college basketball. This team is an entertaining bunch and here’s to them having a great year and a nucleus that just might stay together a couple of years. Go Tiger Basketball!

Cash where credit is due. Brad has done a heckuva job last two plus years. Took 15 to get there but he’s doing it! Can’t wait to see another deep tourney run.

Yeah he did. Have to give AD Neff a shoutout too. I think when he became AD, he and Brad had a serious meeting on what it would take. Kudos to Brad for telling him the truth and building that relationship.
I would also say that hunter Tyson and chef to name a couple came here and future players and recruits could see the clear development of their talents. It breeds excitement.

GVTiger I think you might have missed the point. Obviously we don’t know how this team will fair. The point was Brad’s ability to adapt in putting together a team. Football is now struggling with this same thing.

Look at the football board in August.
Then look at it between august31 and Sept 11.
Now look at it.
Yes clemson football is losing which creates frustration and anger.
But I also think at least half the anger is self derived from all the hype. We get waaay too excited..waaay to fast. Then we feel betrayed or wronged in some way and lash out.
I was at the game..I like what I saw.. cept for FT shooting and the parking situation. But.. I'll show restraint .
