Getting out after the game....

It took us overtwo hours to out of Clemson from Lot 12. Was that typical from other parking areas? It's never taken more than one hour before.

We were in general parking across from Brooks IPTAY lot and we spent about 45 minutes before actually putting our vehicle into drive. Then another 30 minutes to get to Cherry Rd, then another 10 to Perimeter Rd. Overall, it took until almost 3 AM to get back to Williamston and until 4:45 AM of reading ESPN and Tigernet before I could let it go and sleep, with the help of some drinking. We got up at 5:00 AM on Gameday to represent and after nearly 24 hours, and sitting in an FSU dominated section until the game was over.... It was a day that left me exhausted.

We were on Cherry Rd before the game was over, parking

near Poole. Spent close to 2 hrs to go from Hendricks to Perimeter Rd. Cherry Rd traffic hardly moved until the Highway Patrol quit working the intersection and left it to the traffic light. Then smooth sailing across Perimeter and over the bridge the back way to Seneca.

For the GA game, after about an hour of tailgating after the game, spent almost an hour trying to turn from Cherry Rd onto 93. Only when the HP quit working the intersection did we get to turn.

Generally, we tailgate hours after the game until Cherry Rd clears. Usually, we're the last tailgaters we see. But leaving via Cherry Rd sux if the HP is still working.

Lot 21 did not move an inch for at least 30 minutes - 12:00

to 12:30. I had to drive back to Charlotte, and decided to nap for an hour rather than wait. At 1:30am it at least moving and got out to 85 in about 25 minutes. I have never seen it that bad before, even GA.

Since I did not get home until almost 4 am, I fully understand people leaving early.
