Despise both, but feel like ND has been consistently solid, not amazing, in every area this year except the first game

I like Notre Dame okay. Their fans have always been good every time I have had contact and my gut somehow makes me want to pull for them to win it all. Just a feeling...feelings are often wrong.

How often are you affected with the scrambled brain feeling that all humans will experience throughout their lifetime. I bet that you experience that scrambled brain feeling right before you tell folks that ND is OK

If the GA defense wants to win the game, the game will be won.

Yes sir, and I would take UGA to win against ND, but I'm letting it be known that I hate ND almost as much as I hate the coots, it's pretty close!!!

I don’t like either but I have met very few Ga. fans that I thought, hey these are good people. Maybe I need to get out more.🤷♂️

I think this is an interesting game.
Early on, I said the playoff teams were ranked: Oregon, Ohio State, UGA, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, Boise State, Clemson (we're more talented overall than Boise, but their RB should have won the Heisman, and they play very disciplined ball while we do not), Arizona State, SMU.
Notre Dame has the best passing defense in the playoffs (Texas is ranked #1 to their #3, but Texas didn't play a top 25 passing team until us). They have a very good offensive line, 2 excellent running backs, and the smartest QB in the playoffs who can also run better than anyone else. But they have a subpar group of receivers, probably the worst in the playoffs. UGA is probably the deepest team in the playoffs in talent, but they don't have their starting QB, and they match up very well with Notre Dame.
I think I'll pick UGA in this one. I have UGA as the third most likely team to win the championship, even with the backup. I think the recipe for beating UGA is very similar to the recipe for beating Saban back in the day. You need a scrambling QB who can also play a vertical passing game and attack those corners than Smart leaves on islands. Riley can scramble, but he doesn't have ideal arm strength, and he just doesn't have the talent at receiver to win those 1 on 1s. Beaux's their best receiver. UGA has such a good front 7 I don't see the running backs doing much. At the same time, I think UGA will have success in the running game, especially as depth starts to take its toll on the Irish.
But this is the best Irish team I've seen in my lifetime.

I live GA and its horrible living here when UGA is winning, so it’s ND for me.

Georgia wins.. ND is overated. Not sold on the Irish, and the game is in Athens. Seems like all the home teams have won in the playoffs this year. Smart might just beat Oregon (Lanning), because Lanning is afraid of Smart. He is intimidated as Smart was to Saban.

Game is in New Orleans dude. Still closer to UGA, but not a home game. And ND is not overrated. You haven't seen them if you think that. I do think UGA wins, but Notre Dame is very good.

GA wins. GA is tough to beat in these type of games. ND doesn't have the talent. Really don't care who wins.
