Kirby is a great coach.
He is great for UGA.
Smart was a four-year letterman at defensive back for Georgia.
He was a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
He attended Florida State University for graduate school.
He is a smart guy.
He had 15 years experience coaching at different colleges before UGA "brought him home" as head coach.
He runs the program to win. He catches flak as more of his players are arrested than get a degree, but his job is to field a team that can win. He surely does that. He is 99-17 with two Nattys.
Smart is married to a UGA basketball player. He has three children.
He is the highest paid coach in the USA as he earned that.
The most fun fact is his "buy out" should UGA fire him -- $118,083,333. That is job security.

Tug I can say "OK" with the facts about Smart's career but where is part about his moral principles when it comes to graduation rate and developing young men for life?
