He's probably not a Conservative either. He makes fun of every group equally. He's the son of a Presbyterian minister and pokes fun of Christians (generally) mainly due to his knowledge of the subject. It can be argued that some of his jokes are insensitive. But, personally, I like to laugh and don't mind testing the thickness of my skin. Besides, I doubt Clemson has any interest in booking polarizing comedians (Bill Maher, Lewis Black (again), etc.) in today's whiney, triggered, micro-aggression college environment. Most people will laugh. Some people will get offended. All of us are paying taxes.

Not only do I like all 3, they all like each other. Tosh had the huevos to crack on Spurrier in Columbia while he was still the head ########. Basically said Spurrier and Saban left the NFL so they could cheat at the college level. Dead silence except for the Clemson fans. Huge props just for that.

I definitely appreciate a comedian who isn't afraid to say jokes they know aren't going to be received well by the audience. Love him or hate him, Stephen Colbert at the 2006 Correspondent's Dinner is probably the most amazing example of this. I'm just not a fan of Tosh though...while I like a comedian who isn't afraid to take risks, too often I've seen things that make me think he's just trying to get people angry, which I'm usually not really a fan of. On top of that, I usually just can't get into his type of humor.
I guess I'm just more into the Northeast guys like Louie (MA), Burr (MA), Norton (NJ), Colin Quinn (NY), Patrice O'Neal (MA), Doug Stanhope (MA), Rich Vos (NJ), Greg Giraldo (NY), Bob Kelly (MA), and Nick DiPaolo (MA)...
...not to go off on a tangent, but if you're into comedy, you should hit up YouTube for old Opie & Anthony shows or Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. It's not standup, but it has lots of standup comedians, especially those who started as friends together at the Comedy Cellar (guys like CK, Burr, Norton, O'Neal, Vos, Kevin Hart). They're absolutely brutal to one another but are hilarious while doing so.

I prefer Tosh over some of the others listed. His comedy has a touch of topical brilliance to it. And he tends to offend everyone a bit, that I like. The more I hear CK, the less I like him.

I got an opportunity to check out this first video, and it was good. Still not really my style, but better than most of what I've heard from him before. Will try to check out the other two later. Thanks for the links

I like Tosh, but $72.00 each for ticket for college kids? I know I didn't have that kind of coin back in the day for a date. Heck, it better be a special event now if I'm going to spend that much! Ok, I'm just saying, if you bought 2 tickets and dinner it would be $250.
