He is running the ‘clemson’ offense according to Dabo. 🤷

Not sure if TCU had better players or not. We recruited much higher than them for years. They played freely and in hurry up offense. And a lot of motion before the snap. And they ran several plays out of the same formation. I don't see much of that if any this year. TCU also had a senior QB with a lot of experience nd football intelligence that was #2 in the Heisman voting. That makes all the difference.

Yes - Duke had much more talent. There are 2 four-stars on their entire roster.

My question is why isn’t he in the box? How can he see how the defense is lined up on field level.

I thought for the most part, he called a great game. We had so many mistakes, it killed drives.

Yes. I really loved the WR screen on 3rd and 6. I thought he called a terrible game.
Also called the same TE screen on 3rd down that got blown up by the Cuse. I guess he does not learn.
I have seen enough to make the determination that he is maybe a slight upgrade from Streeter. But I am not impressed for what we are paying him.

I don’t blame Riley at all. When Hamp Greene is your main target on a few 3rd Downs your Offense is going to struggle. This offense really doesn’t have any elite athletes. Blows my mind that Tyler Brown is already our biggest threat for an explosive play. We need an infusion of talented athletes (high 4* and 5*) either through recruiting or transfer portal. Also Brinningstol is not the stud TE this offense has been lacking for a long time. He has zero toughness and lacks the ability to stretch the field.

Until I see Garrett with the Waffle House menu and dabo with the index card I will not believe Riley has very much at all to do with the success or lack there of of this offense.

Dabo does not call the majority of the plays…it just depends on the game…he influences the offense the same amount he always has. So if we haven’t used it as an excuse before…we can’t start now. P

Tyler Grisham is our problem. We don’t have those big wide receivers. None of our guys are Beasts like we had before.
We need Jeff Scott back for better talent in recruiting.
Without big fast and strong WRs… Rileys offense is going to be stagnant.
