*From Florida's notes: Dating back to April 19, Peterson has made six appearances (five starts) and leads the Orange & Blue with a 2.55 ERA and .209 batting average against in 24 2/3 frames. The right-hander from Palm Harbor, Fla. is 2-0 in that span with just 19 hits allowed, 12 walks and 27 strikeouts.
*Smith returned from a two-week break to fall just one short of a career-high with nine strikeouts in a no-decision versus High Point last week, with six hits, three runs (one earned) and no walks over 5.1 IP.

Smith only thrown 1 pitch that hasn't been a fastball so far. Just threw 3 breakers. Gotta mix and get away from fastball heavy against this team. They will time it out. A pretty good 1st considering nerves and his youth. Let's pound the baseball and help him out!!
