So it's DJ's fault that the FSU defense gave up 24 points to GA Tech? You may want to wait and see how many the Tiger defense gives GA Tech. Would that be Klubnik's fault?

Under 200 yards and zero TDs, averaging negative yards through the air in the first half. He took care of the football, but he didn’t do much to help them. His two best throws came when GT blitzed safeties on 4th down.

Yes. Too hard to play comp football when the fsu offense can only run it twice and try to sneak a slant or curl in on 3rd because DJ cant read the defense or throw the long ball accurately or extend a play running in slow motion with lead feet. One trick offense is what fsu has and too many 3 and outs and their defense ends up living on the field gassed

No. But it's at least partially his fault that they only scored 21 pts against GA Tech.
I've got nothing against the kid, and don't blame him at all for trying to better his situation after it didn't work out for him at Clemson. However, I never understood the hype about him coming to fsu.

I can see it worse, ACC has a few teams that will give trouble to DJU and lead to a “group” of players who don’t play for each other….i hope they quit on FSU and they lose all their games lol.

Relying on the portal means some years the talent level you need may not be available our goes somewhere else. You are not going to get the diamond in the rough or develop your high school recruit, because they know you will bring in someone from the portal for immediate help.

Nobody MAKES you start, or play, a portal QB. You mean to tell me the vaunted and esteemed Florida State University, with all its cache and cash, is not recruiting high school quarterbacks that can beat out DJU? I mean, surely he can't be considered in the upper echelon of NCAA quarterbacks this season.
Or can FSU not recruit a high school kid because now they have a reputation of being a portal layover terminal?
There may be some logic and long-term benefit for building a legacy as a place where transfers are few and far between. That's what Dabo is betting on, I'm sure, and I pray that it works, because he isn't going to change his mind easily.

I actually thought DJU played a little better than normal today, but unlike the GT QB, I don't think DJ can go win the game for you. Maybe it was just the first game, but neither defense looked really good to me, although it was low scoring.
