I believe the Syracuse mascot used to be the "Orangemen", and just like St. John's (used to be the Redmen) the PC police swept in and forced them to change their name. Sad. Probably even more so that they just went with "Orange" and not something entirely new...and as far as Maryland, I keep hearing people talk about their stats, their D, etc...but no one has yet to mention that outside of beating a hapless WV they've essentially played 3 Div-2 teams so I'm not buying that they deserve a 25 ranking. We'll see but I bet FSU beats them by at least 3 TDs...just sayin
