I gave up on fairy tales a little after I measured tour chimney and figured out there's no way a fat man is coming down our chimney.
There are a lot of evil people out there though, but I'm not talking a religious type evil.

Revelation 18:23-24 23 … for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery (pharmakeia). 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth.”
According to the Thayer Greek Dictionary "pharmakeia" is "the use or administering of drugs; poisoning; and sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it."

Possessed woman. I’m not going to give too many details but I will just say I was standing face to face when she confronted me. I saw her face distort and her eyes turned to shark eyes. Every last bit of white left her eyes and I stared into solid black. I couldn’t sleep for several days. I actually talked with several pastors about what I saw and they had no doubt about it. When she first confronted me I thought I was dealing with someone on drugs. But from years of working in an ER I knew this was much different but I just didn’t understand what was happening at first. By the way, this was not in an ER setting. I could tell the entire story with details but I would prefer to leave it like this. I realize most people will scoff at this but that’s fine.

And its alwasy left me with only question to you: How the fsck do you know "how I am"?
I've never met you, seen you, or even conversed with you other than on here. And that's all been mostly from your bipolar, manic depressive perspective, because really, saying anything past a sentence or two to you is pretty pointless.
Like when you get all hammered (or at least you act like you are), and come on here and say some pretty chitty stuff to me about my life, my wife or anything else you think you might somehow get a rise out of me.
Then--my favorite part--2 days later come back on here and tell everyone else they need to find God and be better to each other. And I'm not the only one you've done this with.
Maybe we should go into a deeper dive about you? Lets talk about how the last couple years have gone for you? Want to go there?

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).

They've been claiming this nonsense since the year 500. There are 53 incorrect past assumptions of a second coming in this list alone. There are 4 predictions that still have upcoming dates, do you want to guess how many of those are incorrect as well?
We've been living in 'biblical times' for 1600 years it seems, sure is taking a while to finish, isn't it?

to a few times in the Bible where it is suggested that at some point in the future, even the knees of unbelievers will bow in acknowledgement of the authority of Jesus as King of Kings.
Philippians 2 and Romans 14 are a couple of those.
Romans 1 explains why unbelievers have no excuse...
This man, who lived 33 years in and around Jerusalem, raised no army, ascended to no position of authority, taught Jews and others for about three years in near total obscurity before being killed by the government for thought crime, is the basis of the world's largest religion.
Today's date, October 30, 2023, is based on the life of this obscure Jew. There is no way to overstate the significance (objectively) of this man's life.
Hoping for a merry Christmas this year? Thank Jesus for the couple days off work.
I understand that this is not 'proof' of anything (except the undeniable impact of his life), just answering the question and adding context.

Always has been. Pick your time period, from the ancient Greeks, romans, and Egyptians, to the more modern and enlightened Muslims, Hindus, and Christians.
It's not lost on me the irony of those that consistently point out conspiracy theories from an apophenic laden haze, will also be the first ones to tell me how my eternity is ruined because I don't believe in fairy tales.

I was a believer once, and I know a person's faith is very personal to them. I have several Christian friends and I don't dare try to make them question their faith or degrade what they believe.
However, when supposed Christians want to have their religion influence or control public policy, or they want to claim some terrible leader is ordained by God, that's where some stronger words are needed. Also, I don't like some of our resident board "Christians" who spout quite a bit of hatred as soon as they get on the Politics board but get all sad Puss n Boots when someone wants to question the religion.

I don't talk about it much because what's the point, but at some point when I'm getting bible verses spit at me as if they are some kind of immutable fact, it's time to go all in on the brutal truth.
I found the Foxnews presentation funny, simply because of the matter of fact way it was posted as "hey this is going to get you!" type thing that's just as factual as eating razor blades will give you an upset stomach.

As well as a very personal one. Probably not worth typing out. The short version is too much ugliness in humanity (too many kids dying), personal experiences (also with too many kids dying), and my own research/self exploration.
I'm agnostic; I'm willing to be open minded to the possibilities.

Well, not entirely. "October" comes from the Latin for "eight," because it had been the 8th month until the Julian calendar added January and February. January is named for the Roman god Janus.
There is no way to overstate the significance (objectively) of the Roman god Janus.

No, you said: "Today's date, October 30, 2023, is based on the life of this obscure Jew." Perhaps you meant to say "This year, 2023." The rest of course comes from non-obscure-Jew sources, including Roman gods and things.

Demons are fallen angels who join Satan and serve him in his attempt to lead the world to sin. Jesus will banish Satan and his demons into the eternal fire.
1 Timothy 4:1 1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
