Some of these analysts don’t get it. Okay LSU beat UGA but Clemson has outscored their last three P5 opponents 163-20 and are the only team in the country that will be ranked in the top 10 of each of these categories come Monday - Total D, Total O, Scoring D and Scoring O. They forget that stats and momentum matter.

Defensively we seem better too. I’m not sure we have another test before the playoffs, but our offense is rolling.

The only possible explanation is that he is basing it off of the fact that LSU has a slightly better strength of record than we do. If he was basing off of how the teams have played in the games then we would be the clear #1 or #2.
It's obvious that LSU hasn't played well based on the fact that the have the #2 strength of record nationally but are only 10th in FPI.

LSU the team that lost to Auburn, who lost to TN, and Miss St. as for UGA, Florida did not impress me today, how do you put a 1 loss team over Clemson who has had to find a way to win through chaos, controversy and a 3rd string qb, we get punished for having a close game against "Syracuse but nothing about HOW we had to win it, as far as TAMU it was the first game of the season we had no real video to use, Texas was given a pass on a LOSS to Maryland because it was the first game, but evidently the Clemson rule of "##########" still applies at ESPN, and yes Fowler is a #######,

I just don't get how Fowler putting LSU at 2 makes him a bad person. He can have an opinion. They have had the toughest schedule and have done well. In the end we will be 1 or 2 in Fowlers rankings anyway. Not that it matters but maybe some people will like him then. I think he does an excellent job and I'm not going to let one ranking of us not being higher than another team upset me lol. He is always complimenting Clemson and usually defends us.

I’m not even sure LSU is even that good, they beat Georgia in Baton Rouge, ok, nice win, but Can their Ofeense really produce at the same level as Clemson, Bama, OU? Doubt it. Tuesday at 7pm should be interesting to see what the committee thinks of everyone’s schedule thus far.

Doesn't really matter what Lsu is ranked on Tuesday. If they beat Bama they're going to be #1, if they don't they're irrelevant in terms of the playoff.
