If they are correct and we're #6 in NIL payout money, we should have as many of the top players in the country as the top 5 money bags do bc, I know that there is more than 10-12 top platers at every position in the country. Maybe we shouldn't be missing out on some of these top players that we have been missing on, IMO. If I'm wrong please explain why....

These numbers must be older. Sheduer Sanders has been said by many to have made $5.3mil+ this year. Utah, every schollie player got a new Ram truck this year so $29k would be the bottom earner if truck was $29k.

I believe it was “ use of a truck”. Basically a lease deal. Correct me if I’m wrong.

We a creating an enabled generation that will think they should start at the top and things are given not earned. Days of putting in hard work, learning to grow as a person and as a team, learning how to handle the ups and downs in life are becoming lessons kids are less interested in ways to cope with the downs and how to handle the successes in life.

I hope these kids are required to pay taxes on these perks. At least they will learn something from NIL.

As more and more kids getting online degrees who will pay for these perks ???” The more post I read about incidents like Utah the more I distance myself from college sports. One day these kids may realize these NIL deals were more harmful in the long run.

Employers don’t give out NIL deals. They are going to expect and demand that these kids earn their way.

years of hard work. Not all, but a lot do. Some of these kids earning this $$ have done nothing at the college level. Also, put a dollar figure on everything they are already getting, scholly, tutoring, apparel, world class nutrition/health care, gym privileges, free marketing of their talents, etc. They definitely aren’t owed anything!

There is no working to obtain something like it used to be. Kids want the latest iPhone, they just go get it and finance for 2-3yrs.

I remember as a kid, parents didn't have a credit card. For Christmas, the bigger gifts were often put on a 90day layaway plan, and when I say bigger I am talking maybe a $70 bicycle, or $50 BB gun or whatever. There was never immediate satisfaction, you had to work for it.

Nowadays, some kids are wearing jewelry that cost as much as their parents house. Or driving a car that cost more than their parents first 5 cars total.

Then Biden wanted to pay off student loans. That just devalues the work of earning a degree and living frugal as a student. Lot of kids would just use schollies, parents money, etc then borrow tons of money to use for pleasure if govt just gonna waive your financial obligations.

Entitlement at all new levels!

All players eat free at Smokin Pig. That’s would be a great NIL deal.
