I mean we need better players too, but it's very likely our next DC is at least as good as Wes. Do you think we are likely to get a downgrade? He had zero coaching experience before Clemson. Dabo still has enough clout to get somebody with experience and a solid track record.

Wait until after the season and go after someone that's a proven DC. Wes was a good analyst for Venebles, but not a DC. He would be better suited in the press box and could relay down to field to our DC.

Football IQ and intelligence doesn’t always equate to being able to teach the game or relate to players and make them want to play for you. Goodwin seems like a very smart person and good person. But it also appears he has the personality of a doorstop.

It's even worse because dabo gives these guys a 50ft lead instead of cutting them off when he should he lets the run it into the ground. Special teams, recruiting, so many other aspects he's let go for far too long
