Keep in mind that offers like that (or anything else that Kiffin has to say for that matter) are non-binding.

Yea he did that when he was at USC with that David Simms kid I think his name was. Old USC assistants that were there st the time said that Simms was good but he did it more for publicity he knew everyone would be talking about it. Doing same thing here tho, Rodgers little brother will prob be better recruit then Simms turned out to be bc his bloodlines and extra coaching most kids don't get. Hope to maybe have him as a tiger when he actually gets old enough to make decisions on college choices lol

David Sills is his name. He never suited up for USC, instead committed to WVU as a WR.., he's now at a junior college trying to revive his career as a QB.
Here's a pretty good article about Sills and him not wanting all the attention he received as a 13 year old. Some former USC coaches called out Kiffen and said offering a 13 year old was nothing but a pub stunt.

Non-binding on his part. He will expect a binding agreement from the young player. I hope this young man is smarter than to take Kiffin's word as anything other than a carnival ploy, and I hope he remembers that Kiffin probably won't be there that long. If he is successful, he will be gone in a heartbeat. If he isn't, he also, maye be gone in a heartbeat.

Doubt his father will trust Kiffin after what he did to Tennessee.

Ryanadidas, we gotta talk, man. I'm on my throne, just relaxing a bit, and you bring in a picture of some guy peering in. Kinda ruined the whole relaxing thing

Agreed, if that dude is at FAU 2-3 years from now even, I will be shocked. A whole lot of ways for a dude with poor judgement to get in trouble there!

Kiffin's Kalamity

Kiffin as a coach is multi-polar. Either you like him or despise him. His success is the same. Wonderful calls as an OC or coach or failure. As a young man in the profession his dual nature is without parallel. For sure this stunt is consistent with a dynamic individual with questionable track record. Why a young football star would risk their future (or university, for that matter ) with him is truly puzzling.
